Sectors - Royalty Collection

There are various sources for collecting royalties using Royale. From e-commerce, sales order processing and shop sales, the royalties accruing to the writer can be directly collected at the point of the sale.

Other royalties can come from collecting organisations for both mechanicals and performances. Where the collecting organisation sends statements as electronic data (often with ISWC or ISBN codes) they can be brought directly into Royale.

Manual statements can be entered directly into Royale and intelligent searching can help located ambiguouse references. Multi-currency handling is in-built so statements can be entered in local or source currencies.

This process allows for analysis of income received against the work and therefore the writer. The collecting organisation may have already paid the writer directly otherwise the collection process will put the writer share into a suspense account awaiting statement production.

Suspense handling is also available for payments received that cannot be reconciled for whatever reason.
