CRM Project is project management software that fits onto the PRIAM database and is backward compatible with it. This means that it can utilise relevant data in an existing PRIAM database such as resources and financial structures.

CRM Project is full-scale, multi-user project management software designed to arrange two areas:

  • Internal or customer projects
  • Staff management and analysis

The first area is similar to products such as Microsoft Project in that projects are broken down into their components tasks, resources allocated, task sequences managed etc.

This project management software though goes further in automating the task management. At any point where staff work on a task a cumulative cost/time record is maintained.

When a task is completed (e.g. within PRIAM it could be program development or testing) then not only is the time analysis updated but the next task, probably for a different resource is triggered automatically. The next person who is needed to work on the project is emailed, along with the project manager, and the task appears automatically on their daily task list.

This automation means that the project is virtually self-driving, and does not require the constant attention of a (human) project manager.

Importantly, this process allows for automatic alerts when a task or project is falling behind the schedule. Reporting and emailing will alert the project manager as soon as targets have been missed.
