Postcode address file - clarification of changes

As you may be aware Royal Mail has made changes to the PAF licensing system.

Royal Mail's aim is to increase the quality of PAF, make enough profit to maintain it and to make their charges fairer to both small and large businesses.

We have no control over these changes and have to implement them as instructed.

Royal Mail announce PAF changes The main changes are that clients must now have a separate PAF licence for each application. The previous option of having one licence to cover all uses is no longer valid. This means that customers who use a PRIAM e-commerce integrated website need licences for both the back end PRIAM system and the web.

Pay per click for web transactions has been introduced. Clicks can be purchased in bundles of 5000 or alternatively an unlimited use web server licence is available.

Generally a combination of user licences for the number of operators that need PAF and bundles of pay per click for web transactions is the best value solution.

If you would like advice on PAF and the best method of supply for you please do not hesitate to contact us.
