Maternity and baby wear brand JoJo Maman Bebe has joined the growing ranks of PRIAM Software clients to make the step towards full PCI compliance by upgrading their PRIAM business system.
PCI DSS was developed by Visa and Mastercard to standardise card payment security in an era of growing electronic fraud. Failure to be compliant can result in substantial financial repercussions when fraud occurs.
Card security is a major element of PCI compliance and the new ICP version of PRIAM, the result of six months of development, allows compliance to be possible.
The changes in PRIAM allow clients to move from Commidea Batchpro (which is withdrawn in May) to Commidea ICP real time credit card handling. This greatly improves security through methods including database encryption and non-capture of CV2 numbers. Additional log-in security and modified reports also add to our client's peace of mind.
