Web sites are always hosted on the PRIAM Hosting shared web servers. These are a pool of load balanced web servers. Each server contains every website and, in the event of a server failing, it is simply taken out of the loop until it has been repaired or replaced. There will be no down time for the websites during this time.

Web sites will be billed on data usage so the more megabytes a website serves during a month the more a customer will pay that month.

The standard web hosting package would consist of a single web site in either PHP5 or CGI.

As part of the standard setup we would configure the link between the web site and a database server provided by PRIAM Hosting. If the database server is not provided by PRIAM Hosting then there would be an additional charge for the communications setup.

Each website will be backed up to the designated remote location every night.

We can also provide secure file access to the customer’s website. This would be provided by means of scp (an encrypted file transfer protocol).
