Jojo Maman Bébé, leading Mail Order supplier of clothing for children and mothers-to-be, have successfully implemented PRIAM software. The whole process of installing PRIAM software, networking, training and going live took just two weeks, a situation forced upon JMB by failure of the system they had previously tried to implement.

Within 3 days some 10,000 backorders were put onto the system allowing the company to carry on its successful trading activities.

In a relatively more leisurely timeframe, PRIAM linked the JMB shops and rebuilt the web site, which drew directly off the back office stock, accounts, database and marketing modules.

Response Direct Publishing

RDP provide a solution that they call "collaborative marketing". This means that their clients share the direct marketing costs with other companies. RDP help them to achieve that. In the coming year RDP will generate upwards of 4 million consumer enquiries through the direct media that they publish. This includes card decks, response catalogues and travel supplements.

RDP has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and has become the dominant force in consumer lead generation in the UK. To cope with this growth and the huge amounts of data that they process, RDP have chosen PRIAM Business Software as their solutions partner.

Response data is imported into the PRIAM system, processed, and depending on certain criteria is then channelled out towards the company who has placed the advertisement. The PRIAM system is able to process huge volumes of data quickly and efficiently and without the need for high powered servers. The PRIAM database is able to hold many millions of records without the need to clear down or archive data and with no effect on speed of processing.

Peter Webb, Creative & Marketing Director, for RDP said, "We purchased the PRIAM system to automate our data collection processes and to provide a more efficient way of outputting data to our customers. We have installed and implemented to plan and within our target timescales. We are delighted with the performance of the PRIAM system and the help we received from the team at PRIAM."

Commenting on the implementation Glyn Carvill, Commercial Director, said, "The successful implementation at RDP is testament to the flexibility of the PRIAM system. The ability to process and store large amounts of data is paramount to RDP and the success of this project. We would like to welcome RDP as a partner and look forward to a long and successful relationship."

Edition Peters Embraces New Technology with PRIAM Software

When Max Abraham and Henri Hinrichsen were working to develop a small music publishing house no-one dreamed that their company would one day achieve world wide status. Called C.F. Peters and based in Leipzig they worked to create the "excellence in music publishing" that has since become the watch word of Edition Peters.

After 200 years in music publishing Edition Peters are currently able to offer the most comprehensive range of sheet music currently in print. Now based in London, New York, Frankfurt and Leipzig Peters has grown to a point where the company is unrecognisable from its humble beginnings.

To control the complex structure of its music publishing business, including the many thousands of items of sheet music, Edition Peters choose PRIAM Business Software. With systems installed in London and New York, Edition Peters are extending the "multi-channel" capability of their system through the creation of an e-commerce site. Featuring a sophisticated music search capability, this will allow members of the public to place orders on Peters using the accessibility of the Internet. The entire content of the web site is fed directly from the back office system. This allows Peters staff to change the information displayed in the web pages without knowledge of HTML or experience of web development. Included is a comprehensive "content management" system allowing staff to publish articles directly to the site. Orders placed on the site are passed in real-time to the back office system and with credit card authorisation and charging, the whole order taking processes is completely automated for maximum efficiency.

Managing Director of Edition Peters, Nicholas Riddle said, "The impending launch of the new web site and the development by PRIAM of a new Royalties system will allow our business to take a great leap forward. We are so delighted with the PRIAM system that we are planning to install it in our Frankfurt offices".

Glyn Carvill Commercial Director for PRIAM commented "It’s particularly gratifying to see such a well respected and established business as Edition Peters embracing new technologies such as e-commerce to drive their business forward".
