Although this section details the management team, the success of PRIAM is undoubtedly due to the investment made in its technical staff.

Managing Director

Managing Director Andrew Kypri began programming Cap Gemini (née Hoskyns) as a graduate trainee in 1976. He spent several years developing M applications before moving to Plessey where he was responsible for supporting Intersystems M in Europe. After creating a retail business as a sideline he recognised the shortcomings in the commercial software available to run it. Combining his computing and retailing backgrounds he decided to write his own system, PRIAM. Within a short time he had built a market leading package, a credible customer base and a thriving company. His ambition now is to consolidate these gains and widen the company base and product range to take it forward.

Financial Director

After university Financial Director Christine qualified as a teacher but instead chose a career in retail. She managed a chain of retail outlets before taking control of the accounts for PRIAM. She has been involved with PRIAM since its inception and now heads the Finance and Administration departments.

Commercial Director

Commercial Director Glyn was brought into the company to supplement the management skills required for the proposed expansion of the company. After several years in accountancy, Glyn turned to IT. He was Information Systems Manager, managing an IT department for a manufacturing company for 20 years before the company dissolved. His responsibility within the company is managing the sales and marketing channel in the UK and abroad.

Technical Director

After graduating, Technical Director Keith spent 15 years developing application software for the Health service using various flavours of the M language/database. In 1989 Keith joined Micronetics, a worldwide company developing and distributing their implementation of M. Initially the Technical Support Manager, he became Support & Development Director. In this role he was responsible for the design and management of the development projects. 1998 when Micronetics were bought by Intersystems Keith went on to develop an implementation of M which is now marketed as M21 and used as the prefered PRIAM database. His technical knowledge and management ability are key to the current PRIAM growth.

Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager Steve joined PRIAM in 1997 and has been involved mainly in business analysis and training for clients. His combined skills and commitment have pushed him through the ranks of PRIAM and into the senior management team.
